Synopsis
In addition to his estimable acting career, Woody Harrelson keeps busy with his tireless activism on behalf of environmental causes: sustainability, animal rights and lifestyle choices attuned to the needs of the ecosystem. Here Harrelson's 'Simple Organic Living Tour' to raise awareness is documented. Harrelson and his friends make their way down the Pacific coast of the United States in a bus fuelled by hempseed oil, stopping at college campuses and organic farms along the way to exchange views with friends and foes of the environment. Harrelson is joined on the tour by: his friend Joe, who has campaigned unwaveringly for hemp to replace wood in industries like pulp and paper; Tom, an environmental lawyer; Jessica, a yoga instructor; Laura, who administers a Web site for the environmentally friendly; and Renee, a raw food chef and collaborator with Harrelson on the book "Living Cuisine: The Art and Spirit of Raw Foods."
