Synopsis
During a murder investigation, police recruit Marc Schrader finds mutilated, heavily tattooed victims that have been skinned for their body art. The work of one Japanese tattoo artist is especially prized, and a fresh swatch of flesh he has illustrated can command a price in six or even seven figures. Furthermore, all twelve of the recipients of one of his most elaborate designs turn out to be dead or missing.
