Synopsis
Twenty-one-year-old, James, a morally upstanding citizen and socially amiable street thug sees "the light" (in a dark movie theater) and realizes that his purpose is to make a movie. He's suddenly inspired to film "The Angela Davis Story" in his Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. With a passionate vision and a Super-8 budget, an eager and naive James decides to recruit neighbors and friends -- including his buddies Fuquan and Steffon -- to help bring the Civil Rights activist's story to film. However, it isn't until they stumble upon a suspicious wad of cash that the project can really get made.
