Synopsis
Belgrade after the fall of Milos!evic. Gradually, life here is getting back to normal. But what does that mean? For Bobbi, Miki, Toni and Olga, not a lot. Sure, they've survived the war, but it has left deep wounds and has turned them all into losers. Losers, moreover, who have nothing else to lose. They make some sort of a living dealing in drugs and arms; whatever comes their way they try to turn to coin. We meet them and a number of Belgrade's other inhabitants during the course of a perfectly 'ordinary' day: police officers, criminals, Communists, ex-soldiers, cocaine dealers, taxi drivers, alcoholics and a fifty-year-old femme fatale. We learn about all of these fragmented personal histories at Cafe Boomerang- the hub which brings together all of these personalities.
