Synopsis
Working-class mother Tuba must struggle to keep her family afloat as the problems and bills pile up. Her handicapped husband is unable to contribute any income, so Tuba, who works on an assembly-line, and her son Abbas, an assistant clothing manufacturer, bear the burden together. Abbas dreams of a better life and hopes to marry a girl from his office. But the economic hardships his family faces, and the political realities of Iran, defer all his hopes for the future.
