Synopsis
Alex is a dreamer, a philosopher, a moralist and a cynic. He is also an internet wizard and a womanizer. That latter pursuit is not without risks. In his city, St. Petersburg, he escapes by the skin of his teeth from the vengeance of a duped husband. He is saved by a hitman targeting the vengeful husband. Because Alex is accidentally a witness to the job, he is however the next target. But something about Alex prevents the attacker from pulling the trigger. This is followed by the revelation of the identity of the murderer: he turns out to be an attractive she, the maladjusted Lubov. From that moment on there is a bond between the lazy Alex and the damaged-by-life Lubov. But fate drags them apart again: the success of one of his digital projects takes Alex to the West. There he finds himself in the arms of the wealthy Helen. Life seems to smile on Alex, but he is tortured by nightmares about his poor fatherland and dreams about Lubov, to whom he has promised to return.
