Synopsis
15-year-old Sammy has spent the last five years living with her elder brother Jakob. Their father went senile at an early age and is in a nursing home, and they haven't seen their mother for years. Nevertheless, they manage to keep going, largely thanks to Jakob, who only lives for Sammy and has put aside his dreams to provide for both of them by peddling contaminated meat. In this way, he maintains a symbiotic relationship in which they treat each other with the routine of people who have been married a long time - were it not that Jakob sometimes imposes his protective tendencies all too forcefully on Sammy. Sammy starts to experience the very powerful bond with Jakob as suffocating: she is no longer the little girl that Jakob wants to see in her. When she becomes aware of her attraction for men, she decides to investigate how far she can go, seeking recognition of her femininity.
