Synopsis
A young man in Buenos Aires makes his living stealing taxis and selling them to a crooked car dealer. But before he delivers the cars, he likes to play taxi-driver; not just to earn a few extra pesos, but mainly to have someone to talk to, a chat with his passengers, although most of them just sit silently in the back. One evening he takes a young girl in his taxi, and en route she collapses with what turns out to be a shoulder wound. He doesn't dare take her to hospital and first leaves her in the back of the stolen taxi, but in the end he takes her home with him, to remove the bullet himself. But she doesn't improve. Desperate, he leaves her on the pavement in front of the hospital.
