Synopsis
Jack, a frustrated writer, quits his publishing job because he finds the work to be too commercially focused. After catching his girlfriend with another man, Jack decides to head west to his uncle's lodge to write his great American novel. While at the lodge, he meets a variety of locals who initially reject him as an outsider, but eventually warm to his sincere efforts to befriend them. He also reunites with an old girlfriend he left behind when he moved to the big city. Jack is on the road to learn many important life lessons.
