Synopsis
Ice cream, chocolate, and other such delicious consolations can often smooth over life's most complicated tremors, especially when shared between friends who are as close as family. Suzie, Samuel and Judith are a trio of old friends who share the ups and downs of life-employment woes, family squabbles, personal conflicts, romantic disasters and the occasional surprising success- with humour, compassion and, in cases of extreme emergency, liberal doses of the title's sweet comforts. As the friends support one another through the joys and miseries, great and small, of everyday life, they come to discover that there are times when the delights of the taste buds aren't enough to wipe away life's complications. Sometimes, other kinds of solace must be explored...
