Synopsis

Three separate stories about three young couples who meet up in the end. The same filling station plays a different role in each of the stories. The first couple is Joe and Maria. They have a filling station and a suffocating relationship. They don't really want any customers. After a while their antipathy starts to turn to paranoia. In a state of folie a deux they barricade themselves into the filling station. The couple in the second part is Lisa and Tom. They yearn for professional independence, but don't have the money. So Lisa makes a great sacrifice, while Thomas finds the filling station of his dreams. It even looks as if Lisa's fatal illness can be conquered. In the third part, we meet Rosa and Sam. They are averse to all conventions. They get involved in an unprepared bank robbery and manage to escape with the loot. At the end all the couples meet up at the filling station. Each pursuing their own aim. A fairly inflammable situation.
