Synopsis
A nonsectarian look at what is known about St. Paul (aka Saul of Tarsus), the apostle who founded Christianity. Not one of the original 12 apostles, Paul was converted to Christianity on the road to Damascus. Seeking to unify peoples of various faiths, Paul's writings and preachings were controversial and he died a prisoner of the Roman Empire. Through interviews with contemporary rabbis, priests, scholars, children and others, a number of interpretations of Paul's life and work arrise.
