Synopsis
On July 10, 1969, as man prepares to walk on the moon, Sacha prepares to tell her family the truth that will shatter their dreams: she has quit medical school and is in love with a woman. But when Sacha arrives in Brussels to a welcome home party, she hasn't the heart to tell them. The party over, she soon settles in to the old, chaotic routine of her parents' household. Sacha's dread of leveling with her family is matched by their ferocious jocularity and petty chatter, which effectively heads off any serious discussions as they sense that Sacha has come back from Montreal a changed woman. It soon becomes clear, however, that Sacha is not the only one with a secret life. If man can really walk on the moon, maybe this family, at the height of its dysfunction, can finally face its truths.
