Synopsis
In the space of one night, which begins with a tantalizing seduction gone awry, disillusioned scientist Perry Truman dives into the grit of urban nightlife, vacillating between mistrust and abandon, passion and violence. After he is confronted by his frustrated girlfriend of 20 years, Truman follows a tense path of intrigue. Along the way, he realizes that he's inextricably bound to individuals who express their idealism and dreams through song, and finds that he must adopt this tendency as he navigates the darkened cityscape, attempting to flee his own apathy and reinvigorate his soulless existence.
