Synopsis
During the Korean War in the 1950s, Son Ji-hye joins the Communist Party to gain access to Geoje Camp, a notorious POW camp, and rescue Hwang-seok, the man she loves. After they find each other, Son and Hwang-seok attempt to make an escape from the island camp. While fleeing, they are hunted down by tracker Yang Dal-su. 50 years later, in contemporary South Korea, Yang turns up dead. Now it's up to Detective Oh to solve the mystery of Yang's murder. Oh finds his biggest clue when he discovers Son's diary, written 50 years earlier. But to solve the case, Oh will have to figure out what happened to Son and Hwang-seok all those years ago.
