Synopsis
The game of hockey has a complex effect on a family of devoted players. Driven by their obsessed mother Ellen, the Kanachowski brothers have devoted their lives to the pursuit of big-league hockey. Sasha, the eldest, is a failed pro who now skates with The Rhinos, the local senior men's league team. Victor is a respected community businessman and The Rhino's player-coach. Stefan, the youngest, is a struggling minor league player who hasn1t quite hit the big time and is having second thoughts about the childhood fantasies thrust upon him by his mother. Stefan returns home to reconnect with his family and finds the ties that bind them are wearing thin. He decides to join The Rhinos, trying to recapture the best part of the dream he once shared with his brothers. But as the three men examine the choices they1ve made in life, Ellen's obsession with having a son in the big leagues threatens to turn the brothers against each other and tear the family apart.
