Synopsis
Married at age 16 to a 10-year-old boy, Sun-yi grows up feeling unloved and loses trust. Eventually leaving her husband ten years later, Sun-yi begins running her own distillery in the country. There she meets admiring potter Duk-sun, but no sooner do the two grow close than he is accidentally killed. Alone once again, Sun-yi takes in a homeless young woman and her baby son. When the woman needs to leave, Sun-yi adopts the boy and raises him as her own son.
