Synopsis
A look at the events leading up to the 1952 show trial and execution of 14 leading Czech Communists, 11 of whom were Jewish. In post-World War II Czechoslovakia, as Communist ideology began to appeal to many, a wave of anti-Semitism lead to the Slansky trial -- named after Rudolf Slansky, one of the 14 executed on the trumped-up charges of treason and espionage.
