Miscellaneous Notes
Shown at Locarno International Film Festival (The Other History of Soviet Cinema 1926-1968) August 2-12, 2000.
After the original film "Tugoy Uzel/ The Tight Knot" was banned by the Soviet government for its harsh criticism of self-serving party leaders, the film was re-edited, with several scenes re-shot, and released under the new title "Sasha Vstupayet v Zhizn/ Sasha Enters Life." Both versions were screened at the 2000 Locarno International Film Festival.
