Synopsis
In order to forget Matina, his ex-girlfriend, Antoine works relentlessly to finish his second novel. Since their break-up a year earlier, he hasn't been able to lead a normal life, choosing to indulge in a series of dead-end affairs. One day, while desperately trying to renew with Matina, Antoine is nearly run over by Charlotte, who gives him a ride home. Unlike Antoine, Charlotte lives a happy existence. She has a husband and child, and runs her own clothing boutique. However, her life changes dramatically when she begins an affair with Antoine. Into their lives and destiny enters Elisabeth, a young prostitute who believes she can retain her independence.
