Synopsis
We begin with Nietzsche's arrival in Turin on April 7th, 1888. He disembarks at the railway station after an eventful journey; instead of boarding the right train, Nietzsche had ended up in Genoa. Following this initial upset, and once he had installed himself in his small room with his books, notebooks and a piano, Nietzsche spent his days writing, reading and walking. An inquisitive and tireless walker, Nietzsche closely observed the town and explored its pleasures. He recorded his annotations, his images, in a notebook which he always carried with him. These notes were: observations, reports, aphorisms, ideas, letters, all revealing a spiritual and physical cosmos, a man who thinks, who discovers, who creates, tirelessly.
