Synopsis

An aeroplane lands in an unidentified Asian country. On board is Anna, who has come to seek oblivion. She has taken a special package deal from the tour operator Butterfly, which guarantees contamination by the "virus for forgetting" during the trip. This mysterious virus, which attracts charter loads of tourists, is supposed to make bad memories disappear. Having come to forget the anxiety which has made her life so unbearable, Anna is accompanied in her quest by Yuki, a guide from the Butterfly agency. In no way concerned with the past or the future, Yuki lives in the present, trying as far as possible to enjoy life. The last character of the trio is K, an orphaned young taxi-driver desperately looking for traces of his family and childhood.
