Synopsis
Based on actual events that occurred in Bangor, Maine, a tale which traces three generations of small town "rebel-rebels" as they crash into each other and burn. Set in the height of the 80's, the film chronicles the long-awaited return of small time new wave/punk rock star, Margo-go-go, to her hometown of Bangor, Maine. It has been years since she ran away, abandoning her youngest son, Scott to be raised by his grandmother. Her arrival turns Scott's teen life on its ear as he struggles to understand her and to maintain the fragile, thrill-world he has created with his misfit friends and the liquor-wielding party powerhouse Rhonda, a reckless young woman who, unbeknownst to him, caused his older brother's death in a drinking and driving accident. The other two passengers, Andrew and Cheryl covered up her guilt; yet remain tormented by the act. Each fears that they may simply have died that night and are just waiting for it to catch up.
