Synopsis
A portrait on the life of veteran rock 'n' roll guitarist Johnny Thunders, who died from what many believe was a drug overdose in 1991. Thunders, a member of the New York Dolls and the Heartbreakers, as well as a solo artist, is remembered through the recollections of Dee Dee Ramone and through archival concert footage. One of rock's pioneers, Thunders helped to found New York's seminal 70's punk scene.
