Synopsis
Carlo and Laura are friends at the Conservatoire. They fall in love and quickly decide to live together. When Laura unexpectedly gets pregnant, they become concerned and the situation only becomes worse when Carlo's overbearing mother arrives for a visit. Tensions mount until the pressure from Carlo's mother, combined with Laura's decision to have an abortion, eventually send their relationship into an emotional nosedive.
