Synopsis

Though the young Danish couple Kamilla and Henrik have traveled to Las Vegas to get married, she gets second thoughts halfway through the ceremony and panics. Running out of the chapel, she jumps on the back of a stranger's motorbike and takes off. The stranger, Rock, will only take her to Los Angeles, where they split up. She then convinces Henrik to pick her up, but jumps at another opportunity to move on before he gets there. As it turns out the naive Danish girl has much to learn about strangers, and finds herself kidnapped. After being rescued by Rock, she embarks on a journey through the country towards San Francisco and Seattle. On the road Kamilla displays a restless energy which Rock is drawn to, though she digs into the little cracks in his personality. Slowly she finds fragments of a secret that explains his journey.
