Synopsis

Filmmaker Amir Kobessov is happily married to Anara but is having trouble sleeping. He dreams of a crowded theatre during the premiere of his film. The projectionist stupidly gets the reels mixed up. The images on the screen are those of an American karate film. The audience cheers and refuses to have the screening interrupted. It becomes impossible to put the original film back on. One day his life is interrupted by a telegram from his village informing him that his mother is ill. Amir goes on the road to be with her, leaving Anara and their son at home.
