Synopsis

Carlos is a drummer in a punk rock band in Buenos Aires. Genaro, an old Italian immigrant who scraped a living playing his accordion in desolate villages, adopted Carlos as a child, though he never told him about the precise circumstances. When Genaro dies, Carlos' world collapses. His delicately-balanced life spins out of control. Carlos leaves for Los Angeles, a village he knows only as his birthplace, to solve his life's mystery: "Who am I?" Genaro never told him while he was still alive, but now that he is dead, Genaro's spirit attempts to point Carlos in the right direction.
