Synopsis

The third part of a trilogy focusing on Christian Polster, who was born with Downs syndrome. As a young adult Christian was last seen holding down a job and getting on with his daily life without any outside help. Now Christian is 33 years of age; he is much more adult in many ways, but his passion for life has remained undiminished. This new film provides an insight into Christian's work with the performance group "Bildwerfer" and includes excerpts from both rehearsals and performances. The film accompanies Christian on a trip to his local bar and shows what kind of social relationships he has. For the first time, this part of the trilogy includes a dramatized sequence that was based on a screenplay written by Christian himself. The film attempts to capture Christian's great pleasure in being alive, his sense of humour, as well as his approach to others and to life in general.
