Synopsis
Juliette is frantically running away from a man when a car hits her. Lying in the street, semiconscious and stunned, she commences counting. She knows that if no one helps her by the time she reaches 100, something terrible will happen. But Gaspard, a paramedic, arrives, and Juliette is safely transported to the hospital. Gaspard is a classic caretaker. Transfixed by Juliette, Gaspard is determined to make sure she recovers from her accident. However, there's Guido, the man Juliette most fears. And with good reason. Guido is psychotic, with maniacal tendencies, to be sure, but he is an interesting philosophical wacko who ruminates existentially about the nature of man and God. Guido is obsessed with Juliette, and to say that he is overly possessive would be a massive understatement. Gaspard, however, not only wants Juliette for himself, but also is determined to protect her from Guido. And you can be sure that Guido has plans for Juliette and will destroy anyone in his path.
