Synopsis
A behind-the-scenes look at the 1999 staging of Giacomo Puccini's opera "Tosca" at the Sydney Opera House. Supervised by Scottish conductor Roderick Brydon and rehearsal director Cathy Dadd, the Italian language production stars diva Joan Carden as Tosca with newcomer Greg Tomlinson as her co-star. Due to budget constraints, the Opera Australia gives the cast and crew only three weeks rehearsal time, triggering a series of tensions and conflicts.
