Synopsis
Ashish works as a waiter in his father's Indian restaurant in Montreal, but his real dream lies in the rock band he formed with friend, Michel. Ashish's father Vijay hires recent Calcutta emigre Maarya to work in the kitchen, with the intention of arranging her marriage to Ashish. Ashish complies with his father's wishes out of respect, but before long Maarya realizes that Ashish and Michel are more than just friends. In the midst of all this confusion, Vijay begins his own affair with Maarya, and soon the whole family is turned upside down.
