Synopsis

Six twenty-something Vancouverites cope with sex, obsession, friendship and loneliness. Peter, who is perhaps a little too kind and unassuming, learns that his prospective girlfriend Fiona prefers to maintain a dangerous sexual liason with a bisexual man. As a result, he begins to gravitate toward his ex Claire, who is unhappily enmeshed with her live-in boyfriend Lyle. In the meantime, Claire struggles to land a full-time job as a children's librarian. Unable to hold on to either a job or a boyfriend, Susan begins to slide down a slippery alcoholic slope, while Rick has no problem finding women. Their lives converge in a series of vignettes in which each has an idea of what his/her problem is, but no one feels able to do anything about it.
