Synopsis
Hungary 1960, after his parents' divorce, 9-year-old Aron Soproni is left in his father's custody. Unable to care for the boy, his father puts him into a government orphanage. Lonely and unhappy, Aron slowly begins to make friends with some of the other boys. As their confidence grows, this small group of orphans decide to attempt an escape, with tragic consequences.
