Synopsis
The story of the people who lived in the "House with Nights" on Arbat Street in Moscow is the story of Russia of the 20th century. Built in the early 1900s, this grand apartment building was once the residence of rich and privileged families before it was turned in to a collective housing unit after the Revolution in 1917. Through historical footage and reminiscences of former residents, the incredible story of this dwelling (together with Soviet history) comes to life.
