Synopsis
Harold Perrineau stars as an African-American writer who, in a matter of hours, must give a speech to students about race. He buttonholes everyone he knows to explore the subject with him in the hopes that it will inspire him to write the speech. An eclectic cast of characters love, fight, "dis," and laugh as they romp through a day of interconnecting encounters and hash out the lack of black quaterbacks, white guilt, race versus class, interracial dating, the demise of white cab drivers, rock vs. disco, and hairdos...
