Synopsis
An old janitor named Tham experiences numerous changes while working in the same Saigon building, over the course of ten years. As the Communists take over the city in May 1975, the Victory Hotel is confiscated for party officials and their families. Years pass, and Tham retains his traditional values as Vietnam becomes, more and more, a capitalist nation.
