Synopsis
Moise Blin was an 18th century Alsatian Jewish peddler. In 1987, two enthusiasts of genealogy bring together as many descendants of Moise Blin as they can. The gathering reveals the chronicles of one family, from before the French Revolution to the present day: an exemplary history of one group of European Jews, from persecution to assimiliation.
