Synopsis
Alyosha is a compulsive gambler who owes lots of money he doesn't have. His girlfriend, Rita, is also fearful that he is offering her up to the gang boss as payment for several debts. Fleeing through the back passages of a fancy casino, Rita befriends a deaf stripper, Jaja, who helps her evade the gangsters. The two woman bond and make a pact to rid themselves of poverty. Rita eventually meets Svinja, the head of a band of deaf gangsters, who enlists her help in outwitting the Moscow Mafia. But soon Alyosha shows up and moves in with the two women, creating major complications.
