Synopsis
Mani Kongo, a Congolese king, comes to Brussels to find his daughter. She has been in prison, and is now dating a taxi driver and working at a dance club. Mani befriends the taxi driver without either knowing the connection. Meanwhile, a bizarre series of crimes is under way involving a man with an African mask, and one takes place at daughter Mwana's club, which is run by a sleazy former colonial administrator. Issues of class, colonialism and cultural identity are explored in the comedic plot twists through which the characters eventually reunite.
