Synopsis
Set in Patagonia during the late 1940's, story follows Letty who is married to Tomas, a much older man who is the doctor in a seaside town in rural Argentina. She escapes her mundane existence by going to the movies. One day an attractive stranger, Gunther, appears and tells her he has been shipwrecked. Because he is German and, given the date, everyone thinks he is a Nazi. For excitement, Letty pretends to keep his secrets as the suspicions of the villagers grow.
