Synopsis
Set in a tiny flophouse, among its disenfranchised denizens--transvestite hookers and professional subway beggars--comes this slice-of-life story which centers around a twentysomething sister-brother team, Nathalie and Tof: she's a beautiful yet wary prostitute, and he's a petty thief. While both siblings approach their individual dilemmas from opposite sides of the fence, both Nathalie and Tof are simply looking to find the basics in life--love, respect, and a way out of their dehumanizing existence.
