Synopsis
Terue is a single mother living with her daughter Migusa. When Migusa reaches high school age, Terue decides to fulfill a promise she made to herself long ago, and search for the ashes of her father. She hunts everywhere, following up every clue. In the course of her search, she receives a call from her half-brother Takenori, whom she hasn't seen for thirty years. He is now in jail. She visits him and as they talk, memories of their childhood come flooding back.
