Synopsis

Clement lives in a world of his own, dedicated to the suave movie musicals of Fred Astaire. His new neighbor is Luc, a comic book artist, who he invites over for Sunday dinner. However, in the aftermath of a housewarming party and the annoucement by his girlfriend that she is pregnant, Luc forgets the invite. Upset, Clement insists that Luc join him and his wife Violette. Violette turns out to be a life-sized plastic manniquin with whom Clement interacts as if it were human. After a polite interval, Luc attempts to leave, only to encounter a sharp blow to the head. He awakes to find himself manacled to a spike in a padded, windowless room.
