Synopsis
Maddie is 13 years old and has mixed feelings about her summer vacation because her older brother picks on her and and she has to take care of her younger brother and an elderly aunt. Though she's initally upset when her older sister leaves for college, Maddie grows excited by the prospect of having the bedroom all to herself. The plan falls through when bohemian Aunt Ruth shows up out of the blue. Soon, however, they bond.
