Synopsis
Set in the dwindling forests of Central India, a modern-day fable, inspired by the famous Chipko environmental movement, which tells the story of the romance between a social anthropologist, Jiya Rajhans, and a committed forest officer, Kabir Sagar. Kabir and Jiya represent two seemingly opposing points of view. He is a champion of the forest and she of the 'forest children'--the tribals. They come to appreciate the interdependence of their respective causes and each other as time passes.
