Synopsis
A remake of Emilio Fernandez' classic 1948 melodrama "Salon Mexico"--set during the heyday of the titular Mexico City dance hall of the '30s, a who-done-it mystery surrounding the murder of a taxi dancer, Mercedes, and her lover, the robber and pimp known as Paco.
