Synopsis
Joaquin comes from a traditional Peruvian middle-class family, and is expected to marry and begin another one. He realises that he is gay, and confides in his best friend Alejandra, who determines to make him straight. They date for a while, but when they meet Alejandra's friend Rocia and her boyfriend Gonzalo, Joaquin finds out that Gonzalo too is gay. The men begin meeting in secret, but Gonzalo accepts fully the double standard of Peruvian society, and is happy to stay in the closet. Joaquin won't settle for a fake marriage, and drops out of college, looking for a less conventional option.
