Synopsis
Jacopo and his father travel from Italy to Paris for his brother Dario's wedding. Dario was a political terrorist in Italy in the 1970s and, with a community of exiles, is living in Paris to avoid prosecution. After a fight, the father goes home, but Jacopo stays on to try and get to know the brother he has always idolised but never really understood. As he becomes more interested in Dario's past, he interviews his old comrades in arms. Like the contemporary generation in Italy, he tries to come to grips with his family and the nation's past. The ex-terrorists are suspicious, even frightened, but when Dario sees the effect of his past on his little daughter, he knows that some kind of dialogue is necessary.
