Synopsis

Ah-De used to be an activist for the rights of the indigenous Taiwanese people, but after the tragic death of his son in a falling accident, he has lost his will to live. He has separated from his wife and now drives a taxi around the streets of Taipei. One day he picks up aboriginal Mah-Le, who has just killed the boss who insulted him racially one time too many. The two are instantly bound together. Mah-Le is captured and executed, but his ghost returns to haunt Ah-De. Ah-De begins to consider the afterlife, and the possibility that he may find his son again there.
